Yann was the creative producer of the tv documentary series “routwäissgro”, and has successfully led it with all directors involved, and the production company Calach Films into three consecutive seasons of 24 episodes each.

Every episode has 26 minutes and was broadcast on Luxembourgish television RTL. Each episode follows a different protagonist, and is directed by a different director. In the tradition of pure observational cinema, the viewer is allowed to immerse into the life of the protagonist, whose reality, conflicts and dreams, reflect the various sociocultural realities of Luxembourg. Without interviews, voiceover or soundtrack, there is a specific charter setting down the rules for directing an episode, in which boundaries the director is allowed his own point of view. 

The concept for the show was initiated by a director's collective, the "Kollektiv 13" who associated itself to the production company "Calach Films". It is financed by RTL Luxembourg and the National Film Fund. Hailed by the press as a showcase for a new generation of filmmakers, the show is a popular and critical success and is currently in its third season. Over a period of 5 years, Calach Films and the Kollektiv 13 will have produced 72 medium length documentaries. 

Besides being its creative producer, Yann is also the director of a number of episodes.
